McCauley Mountain is located in Old Forge, New York off Route 28, north of Utica and west of Lake George. Take exit 31 from the Thruway (I-90), or the Route 28 exit from the Northway (I-87)

Enter Old Forge from south at Moose River bridge

Turn RIGHT on Sheard St. (4 blocks)

Turn LEFT on Joy Tract Road (1st stop sign)

Turn LEFT on Bisby Road

Turn LEFT on McCauley Road
